Template changes on your timeline
Template changes on your timeline: markers that show when you changed your brand or prompt setup, for context.
What the markers mean
On your trend charts you'll sometimes see a marker on the timeline. It flags a point where you changed your setup: your brand details (domain, description, competitors) or your prompts.
Why they're there
When a score jumps or dips, the first question is "what changed?" These markers answer it. A shift right after a marker is often a direct result of the change you made, and a shift with no marker nearby points to something outside your setup, like movement in your market.
How to use them
- Treat markers as context for reading a trend, not as data points themselves.
- After a meaningful change, run a new scan so the next point reflects it (see Re-running and comparing scans).
- Editing brand details (Company settings) or prompts (Editing prompts) is what creates these markers.
