AI Visibility + SEO

See what AI answers say about your brand.

Your buyer asks an AI assistant. It names three brands. LumaRank tells you whether one of them is you, who the other two are, and what to change.

  • ChatGPT
  • Claude
  • Gemini
  • AI Overviews
Prompt:What are the best product analytics tools for a startup?
For an early-stage team the usual shortlist is Mixpanel, Amplitude and Acme Analytics, which is the quickest of the three to get running: self-serve setup and a free tier up to 100k events.
Mentionedposition #3 · positive · 2 sources

94% of business buyers now lean on AI somewhere in the decision, ahead of vendor sites, sales calls and analyst reports.

48% - 52% of smaller and regional brands never come up at all. Not further down the list, not later in the answer, just absent.

Being the better product is not the same as being the one named. The answer gets built out of what the internet already says about your category, and that got written without you in the room. LumaRank puts you in the room: the answers your buyers are getting, who is being recommended instead of you, and what to change so the next one reads differently.

What one scan gives you

Both halves in one run: what the four engines answered, and everything on and off your site that shaped it.

AI Visibility

A score out of 100 built from how often you get named, where you land in the answer, how accurately you are described and whether you are treated as a leading option. Broken out by engine and by question.

How they describe you

Tone by engine and by topic, and a check of your own claims: give it your pricing or your key features and it flags the answers that get them wrong.

The sources behind the answers

The pages each engine pulled from, split into your own and everyone else’s, plus where you already come up on Reddit, Wikipedia and the open web, and how loud you are there next to your competitors.

Where you stand

Share of voice against the rivals you listed, who gets named above you, how their site compares to yours, and the questions where they own the answer and you are missing from it. Anyone else you want to keep an eye on goes on a free watchlist and still gets tracked in the answers.

SEO health

A technical and content audit over fourteen categories, each issue with the pages it affects and how to fix it, plus the files and markup that decide whether an assistant can read your site at all.

The action list

Every finding becomes one action carrying the evidence behind it, an estimated impact and an effort level, ordered so the cheap wins come first. Any of it exports as a PDF.

After the first scan, what comes next

Everything above happens again on a schedule, and the account carries the rest of the job. The work queue that comes out of it, the Google side of the same brand, and the reporting that leaves your hands.

Measurement that keeps running

The first scan is a reading. These turn it into a line you can trust.

Scheduled monitoring
Your questions go back to the four engines on your plan’s cadence, so the score becomes a trend instead of a single reading.
Alerts
An email when visibility drops past the threshold you set, or when a competitor passes you in the answers.
Email digests
What moved since the last one, on the day and hour you pick, for you or for the client.
History and consistency
Every run is kept, so you can tell a gain that held from a week where the engines simply changed their mind.

The work, and proof it landed

Findings arrive as a queue with the evidence attached, not as advice.

Actions Hub
One list ranked by impact against effort, each item carrying what the scan found, with a guided mode that just hands you the next one.
Content briefs
For a gap the scan found, the brief comes written: the questions to answer, the sources to beat, the entities to name.
Opportunities by source
The same list cut by where it came from: by engine, by competitor, by keyword, by Search Console, by the sites that get you mentioned.
Progress tracking
Close an action and the next scan is the one that says whether it moved anything.

Search, next to the answers

The Google side of the same brand, in the same account.

AI-aware keyword rank tracking
Daily Google positions with an AI column beside them, so the queries where you rank and still never get cited stop being invisible.
Google Search Console analysis
Connect the property for striking distance, CTR gaps and cannibalization, plus the searches that trigger an AI answer.
Keyword discovery
Suggestions from your own pages and from what your competitors rank for, so the list does not start empty.

Everyone else sees it

The part that leaves the account: a client, a board, a channel.

Custom dashboards
Choose the widgets, metrics and competitors per project, arrange them your way, then share a link or export the view.
Twelve PDF reports
Executive summary, action plan, competitive analysis, AI sources, progress and prompts, per scan or across the whole project.
White label
Your logo, your brand color and your company name on every report and every shared dashboard. Included on the agency plans from Pro up, an add-on on the rest.
Agency workspaces
One company per client, access granted per project, and each client’s data kept to its own workspace.

Being built right now: Fix-it agent, API and webhooks, so your scores and your fixes can live where the rest of your work already does.

FAQ

What is AI visibility?

AI visibility is how often and how accurately an AI answer names your brand when someone asks about your category. That includes assistants like ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, and the AI Overviews block Google puts above its own results. Those answers rarely send a click, so nothing about them reaches your analytics. LumaRank asks the same questions your buyers ask, measures what comes back, and shows you what to fix.

Which AI engines does LumaRank scan?

Four: OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini) and Google AI Overviews, the AI block above the Google results. AI Overviews is asked with a search term derived from the prompt, because people search shorter than they ask an assistant. You choose which engines a scan uses at the company, project and scan level, and the effective set is the intersection of those choices, so an agency can standardize per client and still tune a single scan. Google AI Overviews is included from the Standard plan up.

How is the visibility score calculated?

The AI Visibility score (0–100) blends four signals: mention rate (how often you appear in unbranded answers), average position (where you rank when models list options), brand understanding (how accurately models describe you, scored by an LLM judge) and authority (whether models treat you as a leading option). We also track sentiment, per-provider breakdowns and competitor comparisons.

How does LumaRank keep results current?

AI models are trained up to a point in time, so on their own they can miss or misdescribe a brand, especially a newer one. On paid plans, LumaRank measures with the assistants live web search turned on, so results reflect what a real person sees today rather than a stale snapshot. The measurement is the same on every paid plan: tiers differ by how much you track and how often, not by data quality.
