Soft delete and the 30-day trash window

Deleting is reversible

When you delete a company or project, it isn't gone for good right away. It moves to the Trash, where it stays recoverable for 30 days. This protects you from accidental deletes.

What happens while it's in the trash

• The item disappears from your normal views: switchers, lists and dashboards.
• Its data is kept intact, so a restore brings everything back.
• After 30 days, it's removed permanently and can't be recovered.

Finding the trash

The Trash item appears in the sidebar whenever there's something in it. Companies are shown account-wide; projects are shown for the active company.
