Refreshing a single prompt

Refresh a single prompt: re-run one prompt or Run fresh to update the current view, and what each option costs.

Refreshing one prompt at a time

On the per-prompt (query) breakdown, each prompt has its own actions so you can refresh just that one without re-running the whole scan. This is handy when you change something specific and want to see the effect right away.

Re-run vs Run fresh

There are two options:

  • Re-run measures the prompt again. If we have a recent result, it can be reused, so this is fast and often free.
  • Run fresh ignores any recent result and asks the assistants again from scratch. Use it when you specifically want the newest possible answer, for example right after publishing a change. Because it always queries the assistants, it uses a refresh.

Both update your live current view immediately. Neither adds a point to your trend history: the trend only moves on a full scheduled scan (see The current visibility view).

What it costs

A re-run that reuses a recent result costs nothing. A re-run that has to query the assistants, and every Run fresh, uses one refresh like any other manual run (see Refreshes and how runs are billed). If you are out of refreshes, you will be prompted to buy more or upgrade.

Tip

To keep everything current without doing it by hand, set up scheduled monitoring so full scans run on a cadence your plan allows (see Scheduling scans and email alerts).
