Reset your password

Reset a forgotten LumaRank password: send yourself a link, set a new one, and what to do when the link has expired or you signed up with Google.

Resetting a password you've forgotten

  1. On the sign-in screen, click Forgot? next to the password field.
  2. Enter the email address you signed up with and click Send the link.
  3. Open the email and click the link. It takes you to a screen where you set a new password.
  4. Save it, and you're signed in.

The link works on any device, so you can start on your laptop and finish on your phone.

A few things worth knowing

The link only works once. If you click it twice, or come back to it later, ask for a new one. It's the same three steps and takes a moment.

Links expire. An old email won't work. Request a fresh one rather than hunting for the last message.

We don't confirm whether an address has an account. After you submit the form you'll see the same message either way. That's deliberate: otherwise the form could be used to find out who has a LumaRank account.

Nothing changes until you set the new password. Asking for a link doesn't lock you out or invalidate your old password, so if you remember it in the meantime, just sign in.

Signed up with Google?

Then there's no password to reset. Use Continue with Google on the sign-in screen. See Signing in and creating an account.

Changing a password you still know

You don't need this flow for that. Go to Settings, open your account section, and set a new password there.

Still locked out

If the emails aren't arriving at all, check your spam folder and confirm you're using the address you signed up with. If neither helps, get in touch and we'll sort it out.
