The Monitoring tab

The Monitoring tab: one place to see and control the three automatic tracks that keep a project fresh and up to date.

What the Monitoring tab is

Monitoring is one place to see and control everything that keeps a project fresh on its own. A project can gather data from three sources, and each runs on its own schedule:

  • AI Visibility + SEO runs a full scan: how AI assistants talk about your brand, plus your on-site SEO. This is the one whose cadence you choose.
  • Keyword ranks checks your Google positions for the keywords you track.
  • Search Console brings in your real Google clicks, impressions and positions (available on paid plans, once you connect it).

Each source shows up as its own card with the same three facts: when it last ran, when it runs next, and how many times it has run this month.

Pausing and resuming

Every source has an on/off switch. Pause one to stop it running for a while; resume it to pick back up on its normal cadence. Use Pause all (or Resume all) at the top to do all of them at once. Pausing never deletes anything: your history and settings stay, the source just stops running until you turn it back on.

Choosing a cadence

Only the AI Visibility + SEO scan lets you pick how often it runs, using the Weekly / Daily switch on its card:

  • The free plan runs a weekly scan.
  • Paid plans run monitoring daily.

Keyword ranks and Search Console refresh daily on their own, so there is nothing to set there beyond pausing or resuming them.

What the counts mean

The "this month" number counts how many times that source has run since the first of the month, with the all-time figure next to it. What a "run" is depends on the source: an AI + SEO scan, a daily keyword check, or a day of Search Console data. Search Console figures follow Google, which finalises its numbers a couple of days late, so the most recent days keep filling in for a while after a sync.

Scheduled runs are included in your plan and do not use your monthly refreshes. Refreshes are only for the manual, on-demand scans you start yourself (see Refreshes and how runs are billed).

The activity record

The full record of what ran lives in History, where you can see every run across all three sources together or filter to just scans, keyword checks or Search Console. AI + SEO runs link straight to their report.

Good to know

  • Runs happen on our servers, so you do not need to keep a tab open. Results appear when they finish.
  • The AI + SEO scan needs at least one prompt in the project before it can run.
  • Search Console is a paid capability and needs a one-time connection (see Connecting Google Search Console).
