Companies vs Projects

Companies vs Projects in LumaRank: a company is your brand, and projects are the working units beneath it where the work happens.

Company

A company is your brand. It's where your core details live: domain, brand name, industry, description, target markets and competitors. An individual account has one company; a manager account can have many.

Project

A project is a working space under a company. Projects are where the work happens: they hold your prompts, your scans, and the history that builds up over time.

Why have more than one project? Use separate projects to explore different angles without mixing their results: a different set of competitors, a focused product line, or an experiment you want to track on its own.

How they relate

Think of the company as the brand, and projects as the different lenses you look at it through. Every project belongs to exactly one company.

Every company also starts with a base project that mirrors your brand settings (see The base project).
