The base project (and why it's read-only)

What it is

Every company is created with one base project. It mirrors your company's brand settings, so it's the natural default to run scans against without any extra setup.

Why it's read-only here

Because the base project reflects your company, you edit its brand details in Company settings rather than on the project itself. That keeps a single source of truth: change it once on the company and the base project stays in sync.

On the base project you'll see an Edit in company settings link instead of the usual edit controls.

What you can still do

You can add and manage prompts on the base project and run scans against it like any other project. You just can't rename it, change its brand details directly, or delete it.
