What the AI Visibility score reflects
What the AI Visibility score reflects: how to read your AI Visibility score and understand the signals behind it.
What the score tells you
The AI Visibility score (0-100) is a single, at-a-glance read on how well your brand shows up when people ask AI assistants about your market. Higher is better.
The signals behind it
The score reflects four things, which you can also explore individually on the dashboard:
- Mention rate: how often you come up, especially in open questions that don't name you.
- Position: where you land when an assistant lists options; being named first or near the top is stronger.
- Brand understanding: how accurately assistants describe what you do.
- Authority: whether you're treated as a leading, trusted option.
How to use it
- Watch the trend over time rather than obsessing over a single number (see The project overview dashboard).
- If the score is low, drill into the signal that's dragging it down and the per-prompt breakdown to see which questions you're missing.
- Compare against the competitors you track to see whether a gap is you-specific or industry-wide (see Comparing against competitors).
