Date range, excluding scans and the competitor selector

Date range, excluding scans and the competitor selector: shape your charts to focus on the period and rivals that matter.

Shaping your charts

The overview and metric views give you a few controls to focus on what matters.

Date range

Narrow the charts to a period: the last month, quarter, or a custom span. Useful for zooming in on a recent change or stepping back for the long view.

Excluding scans

Some scans are outliers: a test run, or one made right after a big change. You can exclude a scan from the charts so it doesn't distort the trend, without deleting it.

Competitor selector

Choose which competitors to plot. Showing only your closest rivals keeps charts readable; the timeline stays the same, you're just deciding which lines appear.

Tips

  • Combine the filters: a tight date range plus two key competitors often tells the clearest story.
  • Your selections shape what you see, not the underlying data, so change them freely.
